SAFETY BOX
The safety box with alarms is intended to safeguard the entire area. The incorporation of trapped coded keys ensures that the openings of the safety fences can only be released with their insertion. Each key has the ability to open a specific part of the plant to which it is linked.
SAFETY BOX
Operators who have requested the area's safety can prevent any other operation: this will prevent incorrect or involuntary re-closing, preventing the machines and the entire system from restarting.
Safety and access control to the operating area can be managed locally, by safety logic and be connected to interlocked systems with smart electric locks linked to the automation system, or the release of coded keys.

SAFETY PLC
A safety PLC has several built-in supplementary features and safety functions that enable it to control safety systems in addition to the applications that a conventional PLC supports, is programmed the same way, and resembles a standard process PLC very closely. Plant failures are continually being prevented by safety PLCs. With redundant and controlled inputs, the function block functions as a typical safety relay.
More about
MULTIFUNCTIONAL SMART ACCESS BLOCKS
Based on Rockwell Automation components, Multifunctional access locks with Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) Safety over Ethernet/IP provide the highest level of safety for the protection of personnel. The system can be installed on various surfaces and help prevent unintended interruption of the production process.
LEDs provide local status and diagnostics for easy troubleshooting. The device communicates information to the control system over the Ethernet/IP connection.
The access locks are available with:
- Integrated emergency stop with two or four standard push buttons
- Optional escape release function
- AIC external protection cover.
Other benefits:
01 Full integration with a Safety PLC
02 Access control system diagnostics
03 Network locks with local access control & commands
- CCTV systems and integration between SCADA screens and real-time images of the plant
- Camera recording with the play-back option, also on wireless technology and fibre optic
- Historical Analysis with trend systems
- Vision sensors integrated with mill automation and digitalization tools
