At the end of January, AIC team completed the first modernization stage at the Alfa Acciai Group's Brescia site.
This first step integrated a new PLC panel (Rockwell ControlLogix safety type -L81), converting and developing software for the shredder management, replacing the previous GE PLC placed in the pulpit room.
The second step will begin in Week 13 and will involve the screening area: the same Rockwell PLC will go to control the affected area in place of the GE and Siemens PLCs that are currently operating.
