New robotic islands will be installed globally in the upcoming months: in recent weeks, the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) for new projects in Italy and Oman have been successfully completed.
In Italy, a new robotic island has been developed for the Riva Group (Photo 1) to be installed at the Cerveno site, intended for round, square and flat labelling, with the addition of a QR reader.
On the other hand, for the Alfa Acciai Group, a robotic island for hot billet labeling, plus the verification of billet dimensions and quality (Photo 2), will be installed in the Catania facility of Acciaierie di Sicilia, based on Comau robots and Rockwell control units.
We also landed for the first time in Oman with our mechatronics solutions, with a coil automatic tagging island and its advanced vision systems (Photo 3).
