AIC has been again selected by Acciaierie Venete as a strategic partner for the electrical and automation supply for the new ambitious project in Sarezzo (BS, Italy).
The new contract follows several years of strong cooperation between the companies and it is related to the complete control system for the new greenfield Wire Rod Line to be implemented in Sarezzo plant.
AIC will take care of designing, manufacturing and commissioning of the whole power & control system, including the main AC drives for high-speed blocks, shears & Laying Head, all the auxiliary drives, complete automation and interface with the existing mill, already controlled by the AIC RACS platform.
The supply will be totally integrated in one package based on Rockwell Automation technology for both AC drives in multidrive configuration, PLC and HMI.
