Robotics Installation and Commissioning Specialist

OPPORTUNITY:

The role requires the installation and assembly of robotic islands, installation of electrical components, testing and inspection, diagnosis and troubleshooting of technical problems, and preventive and corrective maintenance.

RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Mounting and assembly of robotic islands according to technical specifications and mechanical drawings.
  • Installation of electrical components and wiring within the robotic islands.
  • Performing function tests and inspections to ensure correct assembly and operation of the islands.
  • Diagnosis and resolution of technical problems, both mechanical and electrical.
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of robotic islands to minimise downtime and maximise productivity.
  • Collaboration with the engineering team to make improvements and modifications to existing designs.
  • Compliance with safety regulations and company procedures during all phases of work.
  • Documentation of activities performed and compilation of intervention and maintenance reports.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience of at least 3-5 years in the mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial machinery, preferably robotic islands.
  • Thorough knowledge of reading circuit diagrams and mechanical drawings.
  • Skill in handling measuring instruments and workshop tools.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical safety regulations.
  • Ability to problem solve and work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and aptitude for teamwork.
  • Willingness to travel for customer installations and maintenance work.
