Mechatronics Engineer

The role requires advanced skills in industrial automation and control systems, with a focus on mechatronics and robotics in industrial processes. Responsibilities include commissioning complex systems, optimizing PLC software, and quickly diagnosing and resolving faults.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge of Industrial Automation and Control Systems:
In-depth knowledge of industrial automation systems and control systems used in mechatronic and robotic processes, including sensors, actuators, and control systems. Familiarity with automation components and safety practices to ensure a secure working environment. -
PLC Programming Skills and Software:
Extensive experience with PLC technologies and in-depth knowledge of programming software like Siemens and Allen-Bradley. Ability to program PLCs for complex applications, with competence in creating efficient, optimized, and scalable software. -
Commissioning and Software Optimization:
Ability to commission complex systems, understanding and implementing software functions in advanced industrial environments. Precision and clarity in writing PLC code, with the ability to optimize and modify existing software to improve performance and resolve bugs. -
Diagnostics and Problem Solving:
Proven ability to quickly identify and resolve faults in PLCs and connected devices. Competence in analyzing diagnostic data and using debugging tools to identify the root causes of faults and implement preventive solutions.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming, preferably in the industrial automation sector, with a focus on mechatronics and robotics.
- In-depth knowledge of the main PLC programming languages, such as ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram.
- Familiarity with major PLC brands and models used in industrial automation, such as Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, etc.
- Ability to interpret and understand project requirements and translate them into effective software solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure in dynamic industrial environments.
- Willingness to travel to support the installation and commissioning of systems at client sites.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
